We understand the importance of Data Protection and File Security. With over 16-years managing company; confidential patient records, client confidence in our security and diligence is paramount.
EZ Smart maintains a strict Data Protection policy and has created regimented internal procedures to ensure that all data, records and information supplied are kept fully confidential, encrypted and secure. We are registered with the information commissioner, the UK governing body of Data Protection legislation (including GDPR) and also accredited with ISO 9001 & 27001 Certification both of which cover the security systems in place.
EZ Smart encourages a limited disclosure policy; one of the most effective safeguards will always to promote the use of a Limited-disclosure policy when sending audio to EZ Smart. Although our processes will continue to be robust and fully compliant with GDPR, we would recommend and encourage the use of Unique Reference Numbers (UNR) on data Subjects/individuals. This will ensure the data sent out is generic and cannot be attributed directly to any individual.

Anonymous file submissions
Clients can opt to remain anonymous by assigning unique reference numbers to submitted files. A method often exercised by Practice Management Software and maintained by the respective GP Practice.
